Fahrenheit 451 Misinterpreted

It has been a few years since I read this book, but I remember being interested in Bradbury's works and wanted to look into other opinions on this particular novel- outside of what we talked about in highschool. I believe it falls in line with this class, in terms of context and claims. Many have come to the general conclusion that Mr. Bradbury wrote this novel projecting a future of great censorship, thus making a claim. L.A. Weekly, as a result of an interview with him, shows another claim that centers around television being, essentially the death of useful knowledge found in books. This may show that assumptions based on the context of a society, may not be as clearly related as many believe.
